DMC & VERZ at Little Green Street Gallery
’10 Missed Calls & The Robot’s Bones’. A showcase of work by artists DMC and VERZ which opens with a LIVE PAINT on FRI 7TH OCTOBER 2011 at 7.30PM in the LittleGreenStreetGallery.
It’s a busy weekend in Dublin with Hard Working Class Heroes and The Dublin Theatre Festival going on, but while you’re around town make sure you find time to visit 10 Missed Calls & The Robot Bones at Little Green Street Gallery and get your hands on some original street art from the supremely talented DMC and VERZ.
The Exhibition will run for one week only. Both artists DMC and VERZ are based in Belfast, Northern Ireland and have recently unleashed a little of their creativity onto the streets of Dublin. This recent affair with the city has inspired this new body of unseen work and Little Green Street Gallery will help share it.
DMC’s artwork looks at an ongoing series of Missed-Call Girls, these dark and floating female characters are heartbroken from an unfortunate unanswered call. Painted loosely with sprays and brushwork he tries to capture that emotional undercurrent.

VERZ looks inside the machine and doesn’t like what he sees, recession, greed, racism and religious intolerance whilst Carrion crows stand picking at the bones of Boom. VERZ’s Ireland is a dark, satirical world devoid of emerald hills and arran knitwear.

The show will open with a live paint, Dj and refreshments. There will be original canvas, framed originals and unframed limited edition prints on show from both DMC and VERZ.
