Hot Tea Tuesday – a lil’ bit of eye-candy for your Tuesday lunchtime. This week, a bit of a no-brainer, the super-hot footie legend David Beckham.

What could improve your Tuesday lunchtime more than some gratuitous Beckham ogling? We don’t need to tell you about his career (football blah, blah) or personal life, you’ve read all about it in all the mags, so we thought we’d bring you some David Beckham trivia instead…

In April 2007, David launched legal action against a look-a-like couple who had been posing as the real Beckhams for the past 10 years, availing of free gifts such as jewellery and VIP seating at restaurants and clubs. The couple were eventually caught out after they tried to enter The Ivy, and were recognised by the manager who had greeted the real couple a fortnight earlier.

David is insured for $250 million, with the policy covering injury on the field, serious illness and disfigurement.

He’s thought to be Ataxophobic, someone who fears disorder. “Everything has to match in the house,” Victoria told People magazine a few years ago. “If there are three cans of diet Coke he’d throw one away rather than having three because it’s uneven.” He’s also rumoured to never wear the same pair of underpants twice – throwing out each pair after wearing them.

In 2008, David launched a range of food, the “GO3 range”, which includes noodles and fish fingers, marketed towards encouraging children to eat healthier.

He’s had his likeness made out of a napkin in “American Dad” by Roger the alien. That’s fame kids.

Beckham has attributed his many tattoos to his obsessive-compulsive disorder and claims to be addicted to the pain of the needle. OCD never looked so hot.
