Hot Tea Tuesday | Olympics Special

Hot Tea Tuesday – a lil’ bit of eye-candy for your Tuesday lunchtime. This week, it’s a Olympics Special.

Oh yeah, that’s right, we’re jumping on that bandwagon. We may not be following the Olympics or really have much of an interest in the actual sporting events themselves but we do love a good theme. So here you go – our top 5 hottest athletes in the Olympic Games 2012…

Michael Phelps – USA – Swimming
Gosh, he’s tall and dreamy. The 6’4″ swimmer has already won 16 Olympic medals and the World Swimmer of the Year Award six times so is a Bookies favourite for this summer’s games. He apparently consumes over 12,000 calories a day to keep up that impressive physique, including fried egg sandwiches and chocolate chip pancakes – it’s a hard life.

Ashley McKenzie – Judo – UK
AKA the Bad Boy Olympian, after a documentary about him by the same name on BBC3. Often in trouble and fighting as a child, he became interested in judo aged 11 after a scrap over Pokemon cards. He’s currently at 25/1 to take the Men’s 60kg Judo Gold Medal.

Clemente Russo – Boxing – Italy
The easy-on-the-eye Russo is an Italian amateur boxer who has already taken Gold at the 2007 World Amateur Boxing Championships and is considered ‘one to watch’ for this year’s games. He’s also a bit of a thespian after starring in a semi-autobiographical, critically acclaimed film about a young Southern Italian man trying to escape from the crime-ridden mafia controlled province of Caserta through boxing last year.

Jack Green – Athletics – UK
The English 20-year-old is ranked number 1 in the UK at 400m hurdles and is ranked 5th in the World. Green has already got a few big advertising contracts in the pipeline so if he takes home a Gold we should be seeing a lot more of him. This makes us happy.

Hugo Parisi – Diving – Brazil
It’s not just Brazilian women who are genetically blessed – get a look at Brazilian diver Hugo Pellicer Parisi. While doing the image research, it was quite hard to find pics of the man where he wasn’t scantily clad – so, sorry about that.
