Hot Tea Tuesday | True Blood Special
Hot Tea Tuesday – a lil’ bit of eye-candy for your Tuesday lunchtime. This week, The True Blood Special.
With less than a week to go before True Blood returns for Season 5 (HBO June 10th) we thought it was time for a Hot Tea True Blood Special featuring Eric, Bill, Alcide, Jason and for the boys Jessica…
Eric Northman – Vampire (Alexander Skarsgard)
We’re a split camp at stylesiren when it comes to which True Blood teams we’re on, we all agree though that Team Eric is a true winner for all round hot tea-ness. Although he has a slight tendency to run to goofy in some of his movie roles (Generation Kill aside) and in fact in real life, as the dark and dangerous Eric Northman he’s off the charts on the Hot Tea Scale.
Bill Compton – Vampire (Stephen Moyer)
While we’re not huge fans of Stephen Moyer we happily accept that he is some people’s cup of hot tea and in Season 4 when Bill Compton became the King he definitely became a little edgier and so, for that, he makes the cut.
Alcide Herveaux – Werewolf (Joe Manganiello)
Team Alcide is where the other half of the stylesiren camp resides, he’s the big bad wolf with a heart of gold (not to mention that body) and we’re hoping to see more of him this season. Keep an eye out for Joe in upcoming movie ‘Magic Mike’ where he plays a male stripper alongside Channing Tatum, Alex Pettyfer, Matt Bomer and Matthew McConaughey – we kid you not!
Jason Stackhouse – Werepanther (Ryan Kwanten)
Hasn’t Vinnie from Home & Away come a long way? Ryan Kwanten plays the philandering older brother of Sookie Stackhouse, Jason. Not the sharpest tool in the box but adorable in that goofy puppy kind of way, nothing goofy about those muscles though. Ryan played opposite Zooey Deschanel recently in the Valentine’s Day episode of TV show ‘New Girl’ catch it if you can, it was a classic.
Jessica Hamby – Vampire (Deborah Ann Woll)
Not forgetting some Hot Tea for the boys, vampire Jessica was sired by Bill at the end of Season 1 and since then has grown into a fantastic character, her ‘newbie’ vampire status has proved for some great scenes and her red hair, milky skin and schoolgirl geekyness has made her a True Blood fan favourite.
True Blood Season 5 airs on HBO in the US on June 10th in the meantime here’s the current trailer with a sneaky at what’s in store.
