Hot Tea Tuesday – a lil’ bit of eye-candy for your Tuesday teatime. This week, Tyson Beckford.

This week we’ve been in a right tizz over the impending arrival of demi-God Tyson Beckford to our shores tomorrow. The male supermodel is signed up to join Elle Macpherson as one of the judges of the new season of Britain & Ireland’s Next Top Model along with ex-The City star Whitney Port.

So while Stylesiren contributor, Laura Bury (or as she will forever now be known ‘The lucky one’) gets prepped to interview Tyson in person tomorrow in Dublin (come back next week for the interview), those of us less blessed with good fortune are making do with a bit of Hot Tyson Tea action.

He may not model anymore but we reckon the ex-male model still gives any other Hot Tea candidates a run for their money. This is the man who has been number one in People magazine’s “50 Most Beautiful People in the World”.

Tyson is no novice when it comes to judging on a model show having appeared as a guest judge on America’s Next Top Model and last year’s Britain & Ireland’s Next Top Model, he also was the host of his own US Model show Make Me A Supermodel.

Tyson knows exactly what it takes to be a top model – he’s been gracing magazine covers, fronting fashion campaigns and working the runway since these aspiring young models were taking their first steps. Speaking about his new role on B&INTM, Tyson said: “Having guest judged on last season’s series, it’s fantastic to be taking on a permanent role on the panel this year and I’m looking forward to finding the next editorial star.”

Tyson has not only made his mark on the catwalk, magazines and on TV he’s also starred in many a music video including Britney Spears ‘Toxic’, Ludacris ‘Act A Fool’ and Toni Braxton ‘Unbreak My Heart.’
