For all you foodies – everyone’s favourite food festival, the Taste of Dublin returns to the Iveagh Gardens this June 14-17th. And we’ve got 5 pairs of tickets to give away…

There’ll be some serious noms going on in the Iveagh Garden the weekend after next with four days of summer dining, drinking and entertainment at Taste of Dublin 2012, sponsored by Electrolux. Taking place from Thursday 14th-Sunday 17th June in the stunning Iveagh Gardens, this year the popular food spectacular is proud to be acknowledging all things Irish with a stellar line up of restaurants, suppliers, produce, food and drink.

Visitors can look forward to dining opportunities from some of Ireland’s leading eateries (including Chapter One, Bon Appetit, Gordon Ramsay at Powerscourt, Jaipur, Eatery120 and Pichet), enjoy high calibre wine tastings, learn from the best home grown and international talents, get involved at live chef demonstrations and meet with over 100 industry experts and Taste exhibitors.

World renowned chef Jamie Oliver will open the festival and give a live cooking demonstration on stage for the first time at Taste of Dublin. Commenting on his visit the celebrity chef expressed his excitement: “Taste of Dublin is a fabulous platform for showcasing the best in Irish produce and cuisine and I can’t wait to kick off the summer in true Irish style at Taste of Dublin this June.”

Homegrown talent including Rachel Allen, Clodagh McKenna and Neven Maguire along with Darina Allen, Kevin Thornton and Catherine Fulvio will join forces with internationally acclaimed chefs Jean Christophe Novelli and Valentine Warner for a host of demonstrations and how-to’s.

An exciting addition this year is New Taste on the Block, an innovative way for Ireland’s hot new arrivals to the restaurant arena to showcase their unique skills and style of food at the festival. Demonstrating what they are all about are newly opened restaurants Brasserie le Pont, Isabel’s Restaurant and Wine Bar, 777 Restaurant, The Green Hen and Matt the Thresher.
